Today started out rough with morning sickness returning after weeks of being just fine. Wrynly soon cheered me up by wanting to read books inside her princess castle and singing along to "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" with me. I tried to teach her to say "Two" and hold up her fingers (though you get three or four fingers) when you ask her how old she will be on her birthday. We played outside in the snow with Milo, our 10 year old pug, and tried to take a nap. Aunt Mauri came to Wrynly's rescue by coming over and making us go to the mall to "window shop" since we are both short on money! We had lots of fun hanging out.
We waited for dad to come home, Wrynly loves to watch out the window for him because we can hear his truck coming down the street from two blocks away. After hugs and kisses, I always tell Jarom to change his clothes (get out of that officer uniform and into comfy jammies!) and so we can chat about our day. Today, Wrynly held out her hands and said "clothes" to him and dragged him into the bedroom to change. Jarom must have some super-dad power at getting Wrynly to go to bed... she didn't get up once tonight (the past few weeks we've had to put her back in bed because she'd get out, turn on the light and play).
I look forward to Thursday night TV because my favorite show "Vampire Diaries" is on... but not tonight, I was so disappointed. Jarom and I busted a gut at "Impractical Jokers" instead before he was off to bed at 8:30. I don't know how he does it, but he loves to get up before 4 am to go work out. Results are awesome... I have a husband with a HOT BOD! Keep up your motivation, babe, I'm lovin' it!
